A Collector's Perspective
Watches worth knowing
A vintage watch is a record. A reference, a dial variant, a serial range, an owner or two, and whatever the last sixty years did to it. We buy with that in mind and we sell the same way, which means you hear what a piece is and what it is not in the same conversation.

What we hold ourselves to
Authenticity
Every watch is examined and evaluated before it is offered. Case, dial, movement, hands. Nothing reaches the collection on trust alone.
Condition
Stated plainly. Polishing, service parts, replaced components, and honest wear, noted wherever we know it.
Provenance
Boxes, papers, receipts, and service history, documented when they come with the watch and named as absent when they do not.
Scholarship
References, dials, bezels, bracelets, production windows. The context is part of the object, so we write it down.
Personal service
You are dealing with two collectors, not a marketplace. Questions get answered directly, and quickly.
Track Record
Not our first watch
Biel Vintage is the vintage house of Biel Watches, five years in the trade and thousands of watches through our hands. We have sold to private collectors, to first time buyers who did their homework, and to touring musicians and their crews, who tend to find us the same way everyone else does. Our reviews are five stars and most of our business still arrives by referral, which is the only review that has ever counted.
Private Sourcing
The ones never listed
The best watches rarely reach the open market. Tell us the reference, the dial, the configuration you are after, and we will look quietly through the network. No listings, no bidding, no auction theater. A conversation, and then the right watch.

Considering a sale
Sell or trade, discreetly.
We buy outright and we take trades against the collection. Send the details and honest photos. You get a straight evaluation back quickly, at a number we would actually pay.
